Third Week in Oz

These three geeks stopped wanking off to Warcraft long enough to create a Facebook group for the Sydney version of the famous NYC Grand Central Freeze. Basically, a couple thousand people would mill around somewhere and then all freeze dead-still on cue, thoroughly trippin' other pedestrians out to f**k.

I bet if Kanye started to wear a jockstrap filled with jelly babies and hang dead baby mice from his ears, this prick would also do it. Cock.

It was the biggest congregation of Indie kids I'd ever seen.

The ginge tried to be all funny with his megaphone...he ain't got sh!t on Pikey.

I got bored so wandered around for a bit...two old men were playing giant chess 'cos their eyesight was too fucked to play normal chess.

One of the places the freeze thing was at was that skate spot, Martin Place.

This photo don't do it justice, but this bloke possibly had the world's most epic comb-over.

Later, a few girls were wearing pink for breast cancer awareness. The photographer I went with was gettin' his mack on but they weren't havin' it...access denied.

This guy is the minister for transport and apparently he made a total balls up. He just stood there for 15 minutes makin' the same answers and lookin' like a total bellpiece in general. Remind me never to be a politician.

Wen to the Blue Mountains too...was pretty gnarly.

Last job was another rugby game. Spent it running up and down the sidelines like a mug and ruining my knees for a couple days. Still fun though.

Was at Bondi last weekend. Weather was utter sh!te so instead of skating, we just wandered around until it got passed 12 and we could hit the bar without feeling like shameless alcoholics.

Top floor ultimate 'babe lair' bachelor pad.

There's some methed-up madman who lives literally on the cliffs. Maybe he isn't methed-up and he's actually hippie-scum trying to get as close to Mother Nature's bountiful bosom as he can. Or he's just taking extreme action to avoid taxes.

You're fucked if you sleep walk.

He even had a toy cow type thing with a leash on and tied to a post. If this was all in Southend, some scally chavs would have already burnt down his tent, pissed on his cow and pushed him into the sea by now.

Some of the other bins said "Oi you slag, don't drop it" and "Litter kills stuff you fuck."

Out of the 3 beaches we could see, only one person was surfing. What a dick. No doubt pissing in his wetsuit to keep warm. I can think of better ways to spend my saturdays...

There was some saltwater swimming pool type thing. This woman got utterly owned by some waves after being in the pool for 2 minutes. It then properly pissed it down so left my camera in the car.

This might have been on Tuesday, not sure, don't remember. But had to shoot the Sydney Roosters training. One of the photos from this session ended up getting printed. Stoked.

Later on, went to some house on the hills in the harbour at Manly. All multi-million places. And this bloke is the former COO (whatever that actually means) of Sony BMI. He is also twat.

Wednesday, went to the press-opening of the Sydney Apple Store, first one in Australia.

There were people queuing up outside 18 hours before the public opening. No idea why, it's the same old sh!t.

The stairs were rad though.

Had to go to this auction house place where a Picasso was up for sale that night.

By the time we got there, it had already been hung up but Prykey made them take it down and walk around with it for the purpose of a photo. Legend.

Outside Sydney supreme court waiting for some news presenter woman. Didn't really understand what the whole lot was about, all I caught was she got preggers and fired from the network. Ex-fookin'-citing, no? No.

Me and Amos sat around for an hour an a half waitin' for this slaaaaag, but she never turned up.

About 3 hours later, went to a press conference thing where this bloke was gettin' utterly ruined by journos. He's the head of New South Wales or something. I didn't really follow what was goin' on...just watched him kack his pants whilst journos asked awkward questions about some political scandal. Gutted you tit.

This was on national tv, so the whole of Oz could listen to this bell-end.

Got my press-pass for the rugby game tonight. Sydney vs Penrithe.

Back at this place again.

Someone was doing something, somewhere to do with the Sydney Festival. New director of it me thinks. There were bare cameras but it was fairly obvious people didn't care.

He'd been banned for a while 'cos during an Aussie Rules game he just punched some other bloke...knocked him out straight away. Gnarler.

He was finding out today from the Australian Olympic Committee whether or not he'd be going to the olympics or not. So I was hangin' about outside some building bare time waiting for this fucktard.

There was mad loads of news cameras about. I was probably on tv, just wanderin' about in the background like a spare prick at an orgy.

One thing everyone knows about Oz is the animals they got are f**kin' weird. So I went to some koala park down the road from my house...koalas are gnar and there was nowt else to do on the 6th day in a row it rained for the 6 days I've been here. It ain't all sun you know.

So I'm in this country right now, 9 hours into the future from the 5 of you that read this sh!t. Working for 3 weeks at The Australian and Daily Telegraph.
21 hour flight was an utter killer. Stopped off for a ciggy break in Singapore after 11 hours of some c**t kicking my chair and my tv not working properly. Got on a different plane for the last bit of the journey, chair-kicking c**t was gone and my tv worked, stoked.
On the way to the house, the bloke I'm staying with told me loads of gnarly stories like how he found a mad poisonous snake in his BBQ and then chased it round the garage with an axe. Sick.

First day in the city, ultimate tourist.

I awoke to a steak i had been nurturing in a bowl of guinness. it was probably the best breakfast i have ever had!

Driving to lincoln was rad mad, except my exaust snapped in half and i had to bust ATS for 2 hours an pay £60 for a new centrepiece!

I was welcomed to Lincoln by ultimate high school heart throb hunk nibs, and his big magical masterpiece of a man from south africa called kevin

Thay were busting mega stoner sweat pants

Mark did not like being awoken mid afternoon and wasnt stoked on going out

Nibs's flat is so rank its unbelievable,what a legend!

We then made an ultimate plan to bust old school non student vinatge lincoln in search of guinness and crazy wack ales...........
